Your User ID is passed as a data attribute on the script tag. * **Account connection** — When you click “Connect FloatMessage Account”, the plugin opens floatmessage.com/login with a callback URL pointing back to your WordPress admin. After authentication, FloatMessage redirects back with your User ID. Your WordPress domain is automatically added to your FloatMessage account during this process. * **Account status check** — When an admin visits the plugin settings page, the plugin sends your User ID to `https://floatmessage.com/api/wp-status` to check your plan/trial status.
